Large Tanker Downlighters
Project Description
Customer Required:
Client required new lighting in the galley that has to be fire resistant and non-toxic when under extreme heat. These lights must also provide sufficient lighting to prevent eye strain. The light fitting must include a connection box that must be removeable through the light cut-out of 72mm, for maintenance and service.
Megawatt Solution:
The best possible lights, DL42 LED Downlighter from GLAMOX, was sourced from German. These lights if fireproof and withstands the B0 and B15 fire tests. For the connections to each light, galvinised round boxes was used. These boxes included dome covers and 2 Pratley Enviroglads at the back, and 1 Pratley Envirogland in the front.

Memeloni Church
Project Description
Customer Required:
The church, located on a private game reserve, required new electrical installations, including lightings and power-supply cables.
Megawatt Solution:
This unique design required the fitment of non-exposed cabling, and the church to fitted with vintage lights. Each point installed was done using conduits running back to DB. This makes future maintenance more affordable. Attractive walkway lights were also installed, stretching up to 50meters between church and lodge.

Sub Station
Project Description
Customer Required:
The customer required a energy saving solution due to high power utility bills. This was due to old flourecent lighting and a large number of motors. These motors and light had a bad power factor.
Megawatt Solution:
Due to the high demand of equipment running, we decided to install a power-factor correction DB, which will improve the power factor of the electrical installations.

Mameloni Lodge
Project Description
Customer Required:
Lodge units located on the private game reserve must be fitted with lights that match the game reserve style. Future expansion must be possible and easy.
Megawatt Solution:
To allow for future expansion, 5 lodge units were wired to allow each lodge unit to have its own DB. This way of wiring allows the containment of any faults to individual units. Also vintage lighting to match style of the game farm was selected and installed. Specials requirement for all connections due to thatched roofs.

Customer Required:
Planning and installation of new electrical wirting, plugs, lights and DB boards.
Megawatt Solution:
After reviewing the house plan, we made recommendations for lights, plugs and DB board locations. After approval, we did a complete installation of the new electrical system.

Client required 30 down lighters changed at a high-level bulk head of about 15meter
Megawatt Solution:
Due to not being able to use a Cherry picker, scaffold was the only available solution. All safety procedures was followed and high quality lights was used to ensure lights last longer.

Spar Goods Lift and Refrigeration
Project Description
Customer Required:
The client was in need of a good lift to the first floor, and relocation of main refrigiration DB.
Megawatt Solution:
Megawatt designed, build and installed the goodlift with the motor. The refrigiration DB was removed and relocated to the new desired location on the outside of the shop.

Workshop Extention
Project Description
Customer Required:
The client needed to create additional space for a tenant. The new space must include an electrical point that must be fed from Tenants existing DB
Megawatt Solution:
The existing electrical points for the landlord was stripped, and a new Electrical board was installed with single and three phase sockets. The new electrical board included mechanical protection to all wiring due to an over-head crane operating in work space.
